Get Involved

There's a place for you in this, on land or underwater.

Give monthly, show up for a Saturday cleanup, or bring your company in as a partner. Every path below funds the same three programs.

Volunteer

Three ways to show up, starting this month.

No dive certification? No problem — shoreline and education roles never require one.

Corporate Partnerships

Bring your team to the water.

Companies along the Meridian Coast and beyond partner with us in a few different ways — pick what fits your team and budget.

Adopt-a-Reef-Site

Sponsor a nursery structure for a year — your team's name goes on our public site map, not on the reef itself.

Employee Volunteer Days

We host private cleanup or nursery-maintenance days for teams of 10–60, with a short briefing on the science beforehand.

Matching Gift Programs

Many employers match staff donations dollar-for-dollar — we'll handle the paperwork on our end.

In-Kind Support

Boat time, dive gear, and marine-safe supplies are always useful — reach out and we'll tell you exactly what's needed this season.

Common Questions

Before you commit — the practical stuff.

The large majority of every dollar goes directly into program costs — nursery materials, boat time, dive gear, cleanup supplies, and educator hours. A small share covers essential operations like insurance and data systems. Our full financial breakdown is published in our annual report.
Yes. Blue Horizon Conservancy is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. A receipt is emailed automatically after every gift for your records.
Absolutely — most of our volunteer hours are shore-based. Shoreline cleanups, classroom visits, and tidepool walks need zero diving experience. Nursery dive days are the one role that requires an open-water certification.
Use the sign-up form in the Volunteer section above and we'll email you the date, meeting point, and what to bring for the next Monthly Shoreline Cleanup. Nursery dive days and school visits are scheduled directly with our Community Programs Director.
